Mahamutrunjay Jap Havan

Mahamrityunjay Mantra is the religious mantra which is also known as “Rudra Mantra.” However, this mantra has different names and forms. Rudra is a furious form of Lord Trimbakeshwar (Lord Shiva). The word “MAHAMRITUNJAYA” is a combination of three words, i.e., Maha (great), Mrityun (Death), and Jaya (Victory), which entail a meaning victory over death.

Mahamrityunjay Mantra is referred to as Lord Shiva (Lord Trimbakeshwar). Mahamrutyunjay mantra is found in Ancient Hindu Text (Rigveda) whose author is Rishi Vashishta. The most powerful mantra, ” Mahamrityunjay Mantra,” has another name of ” Trymbkam Mantra,” referring to the Lord shiva’s three eyes. Mahamrityunjay means Victory over the evil things and Victory over the illusion of separateness from the soul.

Mahamrutyunjay Mantra is a part of Rigveda (RV 7.59.12), which is addressed to the Lord Trimbakeshwar (lord shiva), and it is the Strongest mantra for conquering Death as Mahamrityunjay mantra is the strongest and most powerful mantra among all the mantras chanted by the devotees for seeking blessings of Lord Trimbakeshwar.

Mahamrityunjay Mantra is known for healing and conquering spiritual Death and not physical Death, so by chanting this Trymbkam Mantra, one will get blessings of the supreme deity Lord shiva.

“Om Triyambakam Yajamahe, Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam, Urvarukamiva Bandhanan, Mrityormokshiya Maamritat”
So, by chanting this Mahamrityunjay mantra, one will get the blessings of Lord shiva.

The Mahamryunjay mantra’s significance is, We worship the supreme deity Lord shiva, who provides nourishment to all the living beings. While praying to him, we bespeak a healthy life and liberation from Death.
